About Alexis
Speech Coach & Founder
Alexis Bennett began rodeo queening at age 9, after riding and being in 4-H from the time she was 6.
With more than a decade in the sport, she’s competed at every level, from princess and junior queen divisions to PRCA rodeo queen titles as an adult, earning consistent recognition for horsemanship, appearance, and public speaking.
Competitively, she won her first princess title in 2001, followed by multiple junior queen titles and two overall contest high-point saddles. She served as the Caldwell Night Rodeo Queen in 2012.
In 2013, she was First Runner-Up at the Miss Rodeo Idaho Pageant, where she also earned awards for speech and appearance.
In 2013, she finished her bachelor’s degree in English and worked as an editorial intern with AQHA and an on-staff writer with Horse&Rider magazine.
Over the years, she’s contributed independently to Horse&Rider, the NRHA Reiner, and American Cowboy magazines.
Today, she owns and operates Sprig, a communications and marketing firm focused on marketing, communications, and storytelling.
About Jessica
Speech & Interview Coach
Jessica Watts began rodeo queening competitively at a young age, building a strong foundation in horsemanship, public speaking, and community leadership through local and state competitions.
With titles spanning multiple levels of competition, she earned consistent recognition throughout her career. She held the title of Miss Junior Rodeo Idaho and went on to compete at the state level in Arizona, where she was named First Runner-Up at the 2018 Miss Rodeo Arizona Pageant and earned awards for appearance, personality, and written test.
Outside the arena, Jessica pursued a degree in sports broadcast journalism and went on to work as a multimedia journalist, covering national elections, breaking news, and sporting events.
Her career gave her deep experience in interviewing, live reporting, and high-pressure storytelling, skills rooted in the same confidence and professionalism she first developed as a rodeo queen.
Today, Jessica remains actively involved in the rodeo world, competing in barrel racing, breakaway roping, and team roping, and works in PR and communications.
